Site of Danby Wiske station, ECML 1991
View southward, towards Northallerton, York etc.: ex-NER section of the East Coast Main Line, electrified 1989. The small wayside station was closed 15/9/58. The house on the right might have been the station house, but has been recorded as 'Station Cottages' in recent views (e.g. Image]).
