Terrace in Gainford
An interesting and varied line of houses on Tees View in Gainford. Most appear to be late 18th or 19th century buildings, some with rubble walls and others with coursed sandstone.

But any intended symbolism has been lost by the 'painting out' of any motto, leaving only three fishes and two roses recognisable to the uninitiated. Can anyone please re-interpret?
