Ferryhill flying the flag
The town hall flagpole is sporting the 'Investors in People' standard. A pity though that a fine civic building should be so excessively festooned with 'street furniture'

Millennium stained glass in Ferryhill Town Hall
Artifact by Tony Steele, featuring Sir Roger de Fery confronting the 'Brawn of Brancepeth' (a ferocious wild boar). The motto 'Praeterita accipimus, futura condimus' suggests that history is history, but the future is yet to be made.
