Chapel Villa, Cotherstone
Converted Congregational chapel erected in 1869 to seat 160 persons. As the Estate Agents have it: "An immaculately presented conversion of an 1869 chapel, boasting period features throughout and finished to an extremely high standard with an eye for detail."

Hannah Hauxwell's House in Cotherstone
When Hannah Hauxwell sold Low Birk Hatt Farm in Baldersdale, she moved to this modest house in Cotherstone where she lived for several years before moving into residential care. She died in January 2018 at the ripe old age of 91 in West Auckland and is buried in Romaldkirk Cemetery.
