Moor View, Hunderthwaite
The easternmost habitable building in Hunderthwaite, seen from the junction between the "main" minor road from Romaldkirk (running to the left of the house in this view), and the even tinier road which runs southeast from the village.

Byre at Hunderthwaite
This little byre stands isolated in a field east of Hunderthwaite, and passed by a public footpath which leads east to link with the Tees Railway Walk. The village of Hunderthwaite can be seen beyond, whilst the line of trees on the left mark the course of the tiny minor road which leads southeast from the village and is marked "not suitable for motor vehicles" at both ends. Image] can only be reached by using that road, and there is a caravan parked in front of Image] so it is apparent that it is used by some quite substantial motor vehicles, whatever the sign says !
