Former Galgate Service Station

Council Offices, decoy entrance
The main council offices are down the hill and round the corner. This building looks like the "shopfront" for council services, but the sole purpose of the shop window appears to be to house a sign telling you that the main entrance is round the corner.

Looking down Galgate
Galgate is the main road into town from the east and carries the A67 from Darlington. The road is mostly residential towards the top end, but lower down commercial properties predominate.
