Darlington Bank Top locomotive shed
The yard at the north end of the shed with a variety of locomotives. The shiny paintwork of 8F 2-8-0 48720 indicates that it has recently passed through the railway workshops and is being run-in before being released to its home shed.
The area is now occupied partly by Teesside University.
