Low Row from High Lane
A view across the dale to the linear settlement of Low Row, which is continuous with Feetham, off picture to the right. Above on the fellside is the even smaller settlement of Blades, reached by a tortuous little lane where only cars with a very tight turning circle can negotiate the hairpin bend in one go. The walled pastures give a hint as to why it is estimated that there are around 10,000km of such walls within the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Telephone box, Feetham
K6 style telephone box. In 1935, the Post Office commissioned a new kiosk from Sir Giles Gilbert Scott to celebrate the Jubilee of King George V. The K6 Jubilee Kiosk, as it is known, was similar to the K2 box, being made of cast iron and painted red but was 25% lighter in weight. By the end of the 1930s there were 20,000 K6 telephone boxes in use all over the UK.
