Finkle Street
One of the old medieval streets leading into the Market Place from the west, and once with a gateway or bar in the original town wall. Now a pleasant shopping street with a view through to the tower of Holy Trinity church. The florist's cat keeps a watch on passing pedestrians.

Number 11 Finkle Street was built in the early 19th century. Constructed of coursed rubble stone with freestone, rusticated quoins under a stone slate roof. Listed, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1211892
