The main road goes around a sharp bend on the right up Benfieldside Road. The road on the left leads up the hill to Medomsley. Snows Green was a separate little hamlet prior to the C20.

Cottages at Snows Green
There is a date plaque above the doors with 1797 on it. Snows Green was originally a separate little hamlet on the north side of Shotley Bridge but is now part incorporated in it.
