'The Village Inn', Sacriston
The closed and boarded pub is on the east side of Front Street, the B6532. It has probably been closed for some time - meals were on offer for £3.95 and there's a hole in the roof.

St Peter's and St John's church, Sacriston
This church is rather unusual in that it serves both the Anglican and Methodist congregations in the former pit village of Sacriston. This accounts for the double barrelled name, as it was built in 2006 to replace the two former old churches.
