Sunderland Bridge
Listed Grade I, probably from the 14th century, spanning the River Wear https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1120699?section=official-list-entry . It originally carried the main road to the north (Great North Road, former A1), but was superseded in the 1920s by the downstream Croxdale Bridge (itself superseded by rerouting of the A1 motorway). Sunderland Bridge now carries the Weardale Way.
