Looking east along the main street in Kelloe
An ex mining village south of Durham City. This part is modern, but Kelloe has a long history dating back to the middle ages.

War memorial at Kelloe
The memorial stands facing a minor road, the main one through the village, and is surrounded by what was once council housing, all of it some distance away. The two-dimensional, silhouette-form soldiers are part of the 2018, 'There But Not There' commemoration of the end of WW1.
