Turf field
The land is owned or at least managed by a company, Durham Turf; the nature of the turf harvesting is obvious in the image which was recorded along Black Boy Road, looking near to south.
To the left is an old railway route, the Leamside Line.

Chilton Country Pub and Hotel
We have obviously come a long way from the "sawdust on the floor and spitoons in the corner" image of the country pub. It must be a matter for debate whether the neon lights, chromium and ritzy decor of the modern equivalent is an improvement.
