This long straight path parallels the main road through the village of West Herrington, just behind the houses of Fletcher Crescent. Seems to be fairly recent.

Wild rabbit, West Herrington
There were several rabbits here beside the path behind the houses. A bit surprised to see them as it was in the middle of the day and this path seemed to be popular with dog walkers.

Victorian house at St Aidan's Terrace, New Herrington
The church of St Aidan's at New Herrington was built in the 1880's but has since been demolished. This house is shown on the ordnance survey map of 1895 next to the churchyard but is presumably just a private house. The vicarage itself is behind here.

Sexton House, New Herrington
This Victorian house is on St Aidan's Terrace, and is beside the site of St Aidan's church, now demolished. It was built in 1891 presumably for the sexton of the graveyard.
