Rain stopped play on Easter Sunday
Less than an hour of play was possible on the third day of Durham's County Championship match against Nottinghamshire. Those who stayed in the Pavilion until play was called off at 5.15 gossiped or, like these visiting supporters, concentrated on iPads or the Sunday papers.

Chester-le-Street: watching Durham at The Riverside
Looking towards the scoreboard and the Don Robson Pavilion from seats at the Lumley End of this friendly ground. The majority of a good socially-distanced crowd were enjoying the afternoon's play much less than we visiting supporters were. The scoreboard shows that Durham were struggling at 116 for 7 in reply to Nottinghamshire's first-innings score of 328. A wicket had just fallen to give Notts' 19-year-old all-rounder Joey Evison a fifth wicket for only 17 runs, and the board shows that the other two wickets had been taken by Stuart Broad. The match ended as a draw the following day, in brilliant sunshine.
