St Mary's College Lawn
Founded in 1899 as Durham's first college for women, St Mary's only became co-ed in 2005. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Mary%27s_College,_Durham These buildings were opened in 1952. That's a wedding in the background, the students don't normally dress like that.

Buildings at St. Mary's College
St. Mary's is a component college of Durham University. It was originally based at the heart of the old city, close to the cathedral, but moved to be south of the River Wear in the early 1050s.
