High wall facing on to Whinney Hill
The brick part of the wall faces houses on the residential road, Whinney Hill; the stone-built wall section runs along the west side of the back lane of another part of the same road.
An unprepossessing view but the interest lies in the notices at the wall angle, particularly the lower one. The wall belongs to HM Prison, Durham!
