Protected Tree
I've seen the occasional woodland and copse surrounded by a stane dyke on my travels in Galloway, but this is a first. A solitary tree with a stane wall around it seen by the A77 near Lochans. Edit - maybe not a first after all, I found this shot in my archives taken at the top of Knock Fell http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2268845
