Whithorn railway station (site), Dumfries & Galloway
Opened in 1877 by the Wigtown Railway on what later became the terminus of the Portpatrick & Wigtownshire Joint Railway branch line from Newton Stewart, this station closed to passengers in 1950 an completely in 1964. View north from near the buffers towards Broughton Skeog and Newton Stewart. The single platform would have been to the right of the image. No trace apparently remains.
