St John?s Chair, Dalry
At the top of St John’s Town of Dalry village at Midtown is a small smooth natural stone shaped like a chair (to left of electric pole), probably from the bed of Water of Ken - tradition said it was used by St John. The road bearing right is the A702; bearing left is the Southern Upland Way.
