Entrance to Sulwath Brewery
Through the passageway is the Sulwath Brewery. Here you can go on a tour of the brewery, taste the produce at the bar, or buy some bottles to take away.
The name "Sulwath" is the ancient name for the Solway Estuary, and the beers the brewery produce include Criffel, Knockendock, Solway Mist, Black Galloway, Galloway Gold and The Grace - all based on the local area.
Unfortunately you have to visit in person to taste their Woozy-Wabbit, which is only available on draught or in party kegs around Easter time!
