Old Boundary Marker Terregles Road, Maxwelltown
Municipal Boundary Marker on the north side of Terregles Road, Maxwelltown, 30 metres west of the junction with Hardthorn Road. PB is thought to refer to Maxwelltown Police Burgh, 1833 to 1929.

Palmerston Park
The Dumfries and Galloway Standard Grandstand, Palmerston Park, home of Queen of the South. Built in 1964 to replace a smaller stand which was destroyed by fire.An interesting fact is that Queen of the South claim to be the only football team mentioned in the bible - see Luke11.
