St Michael's Churchyard
The churchyard at St Michael's is the oldest town graveyard in Dumfries. Robert Burns was buried here in 1796.

Jean Armour Statue, Dumfries
Statue to Robert Burns's wife whom he first met in 1784 and later married. After Burns's death in 1796, Jean Armour continued to live close by where this statue is until her own death thirty eight years later.
