Powfoot: a long wall is a long bench
This wall is thoughtfully constructed in the form of a bench for its entire length. I can't believe it is ever remotely full!

Powfoot: postbox № DG12 86
The village postbox is attached to a wooden post which is actually in someone's private garden. It is emptied at 2:30 on weekday afternoons and at 10:30 on Saturday mornings.
