Greyfriars Church, Dumfries
Built 1868. The site, and adjacent area, has been associated with Christian life and witness in the community for centuries. The church is the Burgh Church of Dumfries and contains the Provost's throne and Baillies' chairs. The statue on the left is of Robert Burns.

Robert Burns Statue, Dumfries
The model was created by sculptor Amelia Paton Hill and was unveiled in 1882. It is marble with a sandstone plinth. Behind the statue is Greyfriars Kirk.

Robert Burns statue
Carved in Carrara marble by Italian craftsmen, the statue was unveiled by the Earl of Rosebery on 6th April 1882.
