Carnegie Free Library, Ilkeston
Dating from 1904, by Hunter and Woodhouse of Belper, it is a very extensive building of its kind for a town the size of Ilkeston. Listed Grade II.

Ilkeston Library
The Grade 2 listed building, a Carnegie Library, seen at Image] with a full description, is on the square. It was opened by the Duke of Rutland on 24th August, 1904, according to a plaque inside.

Ilkeston War Memorial, Market Place
Cenotaph style monument, designed by local architect Tatham Sudbury, inaugurated in 1922. The names of the fallen are recorded on bronze plaques on the base. Listed Grade II.

Entrance to the Carnegie Library, Ilkeston
Built in 1904 with funds from the Carnegie foundation. A feature of the main front is the decorative panels at first floor level. The building is Listed Grade II.
