Cemetery chapels, Heanor Cemetery
Designed by Benjamin Wilson of Alfreton and consecrated in 1858. Originally topped by a spirelet. Typically, the building contained two chapels, for Anglican and Non-conformist ceremonies. Note the strapping round the building, presumably as a result of subsidence from coal mining.
