Hunloke's Arm of the Nutbrook Canal
The strip of bog, next to the hedge, is all that's left of the western end of a short side-cut of the Nutbrook Canal. It was named after Sir Henry Hunloke, who commissioned it to carry coal from nearby pits. A public footpath follows the line of the old towpath.
