Castle Square postbox ref. DE73 1367
Standard EIIR lampbox. Beyond, the first two buildings on the far side of the road are interesting in that they look like two 3-bay houses, but in fact each contains two dwellings, as can be seen from the two doors with a passageway between. Built in the early 19th century and Grade II listed.

The White Swan
Built in 1682 as a public house, although despite the signs it is not clear whether it still functions as such. The lintel is inscribed with the initials of the builder and the date. Grade II listed.
