To Convert or Not To Convert
The windows on the left are in the converted section of Victoria Mill, darkened by curtains, blinds and internal walls. On the right the unconverted mill allows the light of the low evening sun through.

Victoria Mill, Draycott
This former textile mill was being converted to accommodation and this picture shows quite clearly where the progress had got to by 2013. At that time only about one quarter of the mill had been converted but recent Streetview images suggest that the conversion is now complete. It is nice to see important industrial buildings being converted sympathetically (this one is devoid of abominable balconies).

Victoria Mill, Draycott
Magnificent former textile mill that dominates this end of the small town of Draycott. The mill to the first stair tower had been converted to dwellings but perhaps 3/4 of the building was still empty. The clock does work.

From the bridge over the railway. A former textile mill that has been partly converted to accommodation. This is the less photogenic end. The full length can be appreciated here. The clock in the distance does work.
