This forms the village war memorial with inscriptions on the road side, not readily photographable in the low sunlight.

Commonwealth War Graves, Scropton churchyard extension
These mainly commemorate members of aircrew from the adjacent Church Broughton airfield. The different shaped ones at the rear commemorate the six-man crew of a Wellington bomber that crashed during a training flight. The crew were members of the Free Czech Air Force flying as part of the RAF Volunteer Reserve.

Vintage Pink, Scropton
Formerly the Foresters Arms, now a gift shop and tearooms, although open on Saturdays only. The sign proclaims 'Cyclists Welcome'; this is alongside Sustrans route 549.

The Old Hall, Scropton
A largely unaltered timber framed building of the 17th century, although it would originally have had a thatched roof. Some renewal of main timbers has taken place since this 2014 view https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4135559 . The cottage is Listed Grade II.
