An open space in Hilton
This rough land is an open space with a small children's play ground. It is in the middle of a new housing development of mixed housing. By new it has been there for quite a number of years.

Meadow Lane
This is what is left of Meadow Lane, which used to run into the fields by Hilton Brook. It was reduced to its current length first by the building of the Royal Army Ordnance Corps Central Vehicle Depot and later by housing.

Former course of the Hilton Brook
Around 1990 the brook was diverted to pass through the second bridge a short distance west http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3863421 leaving this channel as a floodwater overflow. The more distant houses are on land occupying the space that was once the millpond for Hilton Mill.
