Figurine by bus stop, Ellastone
I think this guy is a fake speed camera cop. Probably put there by some disgruntled resident unhappy with cars speeding through the village. I particularly liked the ice-cream tub head.

Listed buildings in Ellastone
The two properties on the right are both listed Grade II. The main house with the sunlit gable is Corner House, a mid-19th century building https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101230832-corner-house-ellastone#.W1CvFdQrLGg, whilst the old barn on the right is a rather older former cowbarn https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101230747-former-cowhouse-immediately-north-of-dove-lane-at-ngr-sk-1171-4280-ellastone#.W1CvQNQrLGg Both were listed in 1985.

The Duncombe Arms, Ellastone

The Duncombe Arms
The Duncombe Arms is a small country pub that has several dining areas and they serve very good food. The place was crowded and continued to serve lunch until very late in the afternoon on Sunday.
