Site of Colour Works in Duffield
This is the site of the former colour works in Duffield. Now cleared and soon to be turned over the inevitable residential development by the look of the encroaching houses in the background.

Bridge and weir on the River Ecclesbourne
By the site of an old corn mill, this now seems to be the main river channel but on old maps it is marked as the mill lade with the river looping round to the south.

The former New Inn
Like many inns of this name, the New Inn was not terribly new, having been here since at least 1828, when it was listed in Pigot and Co.'s national commercial directory. it closed in 1999 and is now a house.
