Gate post at Wood-End
Looking southwards along the track which runs parallel to the railway. The plaque reads "It took God six days to make the earth, then he rested. Then he made man and rested again. Finally he made woman. Since then no b*gger ever rested". Certainly not something I would have on my front gate! My first thought was what would prompt such a permanent statement? My second thought was that whoever did the rendering was not really up to the job.
