New Life Church, Alfreton
Built as the Wycliffe Congregational Church in about 1850. The architect was C.G. Gilbert. A spire was demolished in the 1960s.

Wycliffe Church
Looking east along Church Street, where the Grade II Listed church is situated on the south side between some shops. Wycliffe Reform Church was built around 1860. Today it is the Alfreton New Life Church.
The building on the right with the 'to let' sign was the home of the Life Matters counselling and debt advice centre, which was forced to close in 2010 due to a lack of funding; perhaps reflective of where things are today.
