The Temperance Seven
As one proceeds up Temperance Hill from the northern end of Ogston reservoir, this group of houses at Woolley Moor catch the eye, in a fold of the hillside.

Bottom end of Beresford Lane, Woolley Moor
Just after a sharp bend in the road, the bottom end of Beresford Lane is a winding, steep and narrow road, which crosses a brook via a small stone bridge. Two of the trees, lining the brook at the bottom of the hill, have been blown over during the previous day's gales. The farm buildings on the horizon belong to Handley Fields Farm.
