Thatch Cottage in Newton

Newton - Hall
According to The Derbyshire Country House (ISBN 0 906753 01 5), the house is "dated 1690" although "it undoubtedly contains an earlier core". The house's owners include the Babingtons of Dethick, the Molyneux of Teversal and the father of Jedidiah Strutt.
