Productive garden at Lea Bridge
The stream is the Lea Brook, handy for irrigating this plot. Raised beds contain strawberry plants. A fine muck heap on the right, with apple tree and sheds. Manure in piles on the beds, ready to be worked in. The factory is John Smedley, designer knitwear and other clothing. Bloke on the left having a fag.
