Darley Dale - former bus garage
At the junction of Bakewell Road (the A6) and Old Hackney Lane, the two white buildings formed the headquarters and garage for the Silver Service buses of J H Wooliscroft & Son Ltd. See also http://www.hulleys-of-baslow.co.uk/history3.htm . The buildings are currently occupied by Milner Off-Road Racing.

Darley Dale - Whitworth Hospital

Old Milestone by the A6, opposite Whitworth Hospital
Carved stone post by the A6, in parish of DARLEY DALE (DERBYSHIRE DALES District), Bakewell Road, near Upper Hackley, between Darley Dale and Matlock, in tarmac path in front of low stone wall, on West side of road. Matlock triangle, erected by the Wirksworth Moor to Longstone turnpike trust in the 19th century.
