The car park is empty due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak which has caused the closure of all indoor sporting activity.

Arundel Avenue
A normally quiet avenue until the buses have to be diverted along it as often happens. This image is notable for the lack of cars parked as usually there is hardly room to squeeze a vehicle along the middle of the avenue.

Chevin Avenue
Chevin Avenue is now a quiet cul-de-sac but it used to be the route into the teacher training college and as such could be very busy. Since the college grounds were sold for a housing development the avenue hase been blocked by bollards behind where I took the picture from.

Bishop Lonsdale Way
Named after the former Teacher Training College whose Mickleover site became surplus to requirements after the merger with Derby College of Higher Education resulting in the formation of Derby University.
