Former Driving Test Centre, Derby
Situated in Sinfin Lane on the southern outskirts of Derby, this Centre is the only one in Derby that does practical driving tests for learner drivers. Previously, there had been similar DTCs in Vernon Street, London Road and Chaddesden, but these have long since closed. The Theory DTC is in Mansfield Road, Derby which learner drivers have to attend before they can take their practical tests here in Sinfin Lane. For Sat Nav purposes, the postcode of this DTC is DE24 9GL. Update: this DTC closed on Tuesday 10th February 2015 and practical driving tests in Derby are now carried out at the DTC off Belmore Way, Alvaston, DE21 7AY.

New Play Area in Sinfin Lane Recreation Ground, Derby
The Recreation Ground Play Area is located between Sinfin Primary School and Redwood Infant and Junior Schools. It is providing a service to children attending the schools from two distinct areas of Sinfin - New Sinfin and Old Sinfin.
