Still walking the hedgerow
Just beyond the other walker is an electric fence and a very muddy gate to the right, so we will soon be retracing our path and turning left to find the path we entered this field on.

Havenbaulk Lane
This lane connects the suburbs of Mickleover and Littleover. The latter has expanded into a further suburb Heatherton. This gradual and not so gradual expansion is happening all around Derby.

This image shows a small green space between the houses. It leads to a further field on the edge of Derby. The further field is quite likely to be developed into housing in the future.

Haven Baulk Lane is a long lane connecting the Hollow in Mickleover with Pastures Hill in Littleover. It is rather older than most of Mickleover.
