A footpath by Pastures Hill
The footpath runs down a dip alongside Pastures Hill and then turns a right angle to the left to run by the grounds of Littleover School. Pastures Hill is the same road as Rykneld Road but changes its name at this point. Both are actually running along the line of Ryknild Street an ancient Roman Road.

School is closed
The gates are normally closed during the school day but with the COVID-19 pandemic the school is probably completely closed. The access road crosses the Hell Brook which runs under the road at this point.

Littleover School playing fields
Around six to eight inches of snow cover the pitches. They are not in use anyway because of school closure due to Covid 19.
