Spring Street is typical of the older areas of central Derby, being red brick terraced houses. It is close to a city centre park which gives a lot of space for children to play close by.

Ye Olde Spa Inne boarded up
The building was originally intended to be a spa, when it was constructed in 1733. It was a private house, for a while, before becoming an inn in 1832. It is grade-2 listed. Judging by recent online reviews, the pub has not been closed for long.
