The Britannia Mill
The mill shows its best side in this view. A thoroughly renovated old mill building now used by the University of Derby. Built in 1912 on the site of a former dye works, it closed as Moore and Eady's Mill around 36 years ago and was left empty for years until the university renovated it.

Britannia Mill on Markeaton Street
This industrial building is now part of the University of Derby. It was originally built in 1912 by the firm of Moore, Eady & Murcott, specialising in the making of high quality knitwear.
