Bus on Meadow View, Rolleston
Arriva Midlands 2060, a Dennis Dart/Marshall, at what was then the terminus of route 15 to Midway via Burton and Swadlincote. This bus began life at an independent in Kent; it subsequently became part of the Maidstone & District fleet (presumably as a result of a takeover), which was later subsumed into Arriva.

3 Beacon Road
Particularly noteworthy for the initials and date "I E 1707" in raised brickwork. The nearer ground floor window is clearly an enlargement of a former window, as the diaper pattern to its right is incomplete. There is evidence for a second doorway to the right, suggesting that this may originally have been two cottages. Listed Grade II.
