Gell's Town House - Friar Gate, Derby
Numbers 16-17 Friar Gate. This fine mid 17th Century brick house was built for the Gell family of Hopton Hall, Hopton, as their town house. For much of the 20th Century the ground floor was given over to retail use, but in recent years it has been utilised as a restaurant. It is currently part of the Zizzi chain.

The Old Fox and Goose Inn
Constructed some time around the turn of the 17th century, the Fox & Goose closed as an inn in 1930. The building has retained its general shape but has been extensively modified in detail. It is currently a sandwich bar.

Parksafe Multi Storey Car park
The Parksafe car park advertises itself as the safest car park in the world. It is a very secure car park that I think charges slightly more than the usual car parks BUT I do not think a car has ever been stolen from this place.
