The apex of a big L-shaped retail block. Hunters Furniture, which occupies the bulk of it, began furnishing in 1928 so that may date the building. It would fit.

Former Grand Theatre, Babington Lane, Derby
Only the uncouth facade of 1886 survives, by Oliver Essex, everything behind rebuilt in 1959 as a dance hall (theatrestrust.org.uk).
Now May Sum restaurant, so, unless they're wasting a lot of floor space, presumably rebuilt again since.
